But the bottom line is quality breeding, carrying the right genetics, that will make the difference. Can't get a good dog from substandard stock. You need type, you need a dog of good structure, balanced at both ends,one of moderate length, that is the dog that tends to move well . Covering ground with good reach & drive. All the diet, health testing in the world won't get you a dog of quality,That comes from surpurb breeeding stock. Quality begats Quality. Finally you'd need a judge who would "consider" putting a dane in the top spot once you have the dog. Something tells me that may be the hardest of all to acheive..

Posted By: Jo Posted On: 6 days ago Views: 521	Superb breeding I feel movement comes with conformation, from what I can see in the ring (danes) not enough breeders breed for movement and think it's not important enough, this year Wesminster gave us a good view of what a Dane should be(type with movement) it was a real treat to see. I hope breeders around the country will take Emmie for exemple!!
